We have no idea because we had to leave.
We arrived and found a massive construction area right in front of the place, super noisy especially for a family with 2 young kids. Also the road was very dirty. The host was very pushy and changed his mind so many times to arrange our meeting. Very stressful.

The beds and pillows were sooooo comfortable!!! The host was so helpful. He met us at the room and spent ages going over everything there is to do in kyoto and surrounds. He had a map with everything highlighted as well as a book showing everything. After a very bad experience in osaka for the start of our trip this was a great way to put our holiday back on track. And the location was absolutely perfect!!!!

The location was excellent. The host provided a list of famous attractions. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery.
The door key was really difficult to use, and needs maintenance. The location was difficult to find, and the owners instructions were hard to follow as the images didn't reflect the current layout of the surrounding area. The tatami was stained as were some of the duvet covers. The host was very anxious and on-edge, somewhat understandably due to having had bad experiences with guests. Still, it was not the most welcoming atmosphere.
