Houseboats are pricey, but this one is massively overpriced and not recommended.

The boat has two rooms; we stayed in the smaller one.The location is easy to reach by bus from the main station.

Unfortunately the stay was a shock. Bedroom in the lower deck, only reachable via a steep staircase w/o. Very little space, almost no storage for luggage or clothes. The toilet door handle fell off immediately, the bathroom door seal was hanging loose. Only a tiny porthole for daylight. The room felt neglected and the usable space was definitely smaller than advertised. Living area (wheelhouse): A huge fixed wooden table taking up most of the room. Uncomfortable bar stools, one broken and one not fitting the table properly. Right next to the boat: a waste‑disposal vessel (possibly asbestos?). We moved to another place early. The owner was initially understanding and arranged a replacement booking (to fill the not used days) as suggested. Later, however, he became increasingly unfriendly and unwilling to find any fair compromise — clearly focused only on profit.
