One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, and I genuinely cannot praise them enough! What particularly impressed me was their attention to detail. They provided a comprehensive online guide explaining how to operate the various appliances, remote controls, and other equipment in the apartment. Since many of these devices had Japanese-only labels, having clear instructions was extremely thoughtful and convenient, especially for international travelers. The apartment was also equipped with a generous selection of everyday essentials, including towels, toiletries, kitchen detergent, and other useful supplies. I particularly liked the shampoo and conditioner provided. Another advantage was the location. The apartment was very close to Nakano Broadway, which was wonderful for exploring the neighborhood, shopping, and enjoying the surrounding attractions. There was also a halal restaurant approximately one minute away, which was incredibly convenient for me as a Muslim traveler and quickly became one of my favorite places to eat during our stay. Overall, although the apartment wasn't entirely to my personal preference, it provided a decent base for our nine nights in Tokyo. The hosts' kindness, excellent communication, and thoughtful assistance were undoubtedly the best aspects of our experience. I sincerely appreciate their hospitality and the effort they put into making guests feel welcome.

Although our overall experience was decent, there were several practical inconveniences that I believe are worth mentioning for future travelers. 1. Room Layout and Balcony Access The apartment had one double bed and one single bed, but their arrangement made accessing the balcony rather inconvenient. The beds occupied much of the available space, and I actually had to climb over a bed to reach the balcony. A more practical furniture arrangement would significantly improve accessibility and comfort. 2. Washing Machine Drainage One of the more frustrating issues was the washing machine's drainage arrangement. When the machine discharged water, it ended up spreading across the balcony/laundry floor rather than draining away properly. This made doing laundry unnecessarily inconvenient and is something I would strongly recommend addressing. 3. Extremely Small Bathroom The bathroom was exceptionally cramped, with very limited room to move around comfortably. While it was functional, the restricted space could be particularly challenging for larger guests or anyone with mobility limitations. Additionally, the toilet did not have a bidet or washlet function, which was a personal disappointment, especially considering how common these facilities are in Japan. 4. No Elevator The building did not have an elevator, and my apartment was located on the third floor. Carrying heavy luggage up and down the stairs was quite inconvenient, particularly when checking in and out. I would strongly recommend that travelers with large suitcases, mobility limitations, or difficulty climbing stairs take this into consideration before booking. 5. Condition of Certain Toiletries Although I appreciated the generous selection of toiletries, some items could have been better maintained. A few bottles had visible residue or smudges, and the toothpaste provided appeared to have been previously used. This raised some hygiene concerns.
