    It was good to be in this beautiful little village, although it was at the end of the town. It was good to be contacted by the owners son to sort out arrangements as the hosts have no English.

    We were helped by the guesthouse to get a driver from Xiamen airport and back, however the driver was a complete idiot on the road. The guesthouse was tired, dark and dingy, our view was obscured by the undies on the washing line. The tours arranged for us had no english and a lot of unsmiling attitude with pointing only. Host seemed only interested in adding to our bill, which he went over repeatedly. More suited to local tourists with own cat. Thankfully the tulou buildings were amazing.

    The owner of this homestay doesn’t speak English, but his son does and helps us with reception. He also prepared a very detailed local travel route recommendation in English for us. The price is not expensive at all, which I think is reasonable. The service of this homestay is excellent, and we stayed very comfortably. The meals are cooked by the landlady herself, with strong local characteristics. Many people come here specially for the food. It’s really great.

    Petit hôtel niché dans un charmant village, point de départ parfait pour visiter les Tulous. L'hôtel nous a arrangé toutes les excursions. Les repas maison étaient délicieux et les hôtes très sympathiques.
