Great stay, wonderful host at a great location.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Located between the train station and the botanical gardens, Napoli Com-era hosts 5 comfortable rooms, ideally situated within 5 minutes walking distance from the historical centre. Antonio is a welcoming and wonderful host, attentive to every need. Do follow his genuine advice on transportation, excursions and other recommendations. There will be no regrets. A welcome surprise was a bathroom cupboard with well stocked items, such as regular bath showers and gels, toothpastes, toothbrushes and any item which you may require, this being in addition to a well stocked room bar with drinks and food items, all at regular supermarket prices.
Nothing to say, as everything was beyond expectation.

Napoli com'era is a great place to stay in the heart of Naples. It is a very nice and comfortable B&B with an amazing host: Antonio is very kind and very helpful, he made us a lovely breakfast with huge croissants, fruits, yoghurt and great coffee. He was always available and helped us out with any questions we had. The room is clean, cozy and quiet, although you are right in the center of the city. Amazing mini bar with wine and all sorts of snacks.

I don't recommend this place as a vacation spot if comfort and vibrant street life is important.
Very little to speak of. Facilities have youth hostel caliber accommodations. Unsafe location. Poor Customer Service. If what you are looking for is a tranquil, relaxing Bed and Breakfast experience in the best Italian tradition, look elsewhere. Communication with proprietor stopped immediately after check-in, and no effort was made to address our safety concerns, other than the suggestion "avoid wearing our Rolex at night" in the neighborhood, as if we had a Rolex. All in all, we found the listing for the rental misleading, and the area too troubled and unsafe to consider spending even one night in the room, and so we vacated soon after checking in, knowing full well that a refund was unlikely. We made several, repeated attempts to communicate with the proprietor over the course of several messages, but he never responded, until now, with his blatantly untruthful version of the story, full of lies and misrepresentations. Being in hospitality business means more than just checking in guests, serving them water, and demonstrating the AC, it's about making your guests feel seen and heard. We tried multiple times to communicate with Antonio after we left, but he never responded. We did not feel seen or heard. Instead, he vanished immediately after checking us in, leaving us twisting in the wind, knowing full well that we were frightened and uncomfortable being alone in that building.
We booked this apartment thinking that it was close to the train station and would make for an easy walk. The photos looked good and the reviews encouraging. But the walk from the train station told a completely different story. The uneven streets and sidewalks were barely navigable with our rollaway bags, were beyond filthy, and the neighborhood had a menacing, Ghetto-vibe that completely caught us off-guard. -The building itself was run-down, poorly maintained, with little to no physical security. -To access the rooms, guests must walk through the proprietor's shambolic office, not great from a privacy standpoint. -The rooms themselves are average, except their comfort and coziness fell far short of the photos. -The room description speaks about a balcony, but a balcony in this environment is impractical, given the noise and the blight of the surrounding area. Even opening the blinds to let in light was a non-starter, as an unimaginable assault on the eyes. -The rooms is advertised as a B&B but felt more like an apartment with a cramped, messy kitchen with table for two. It was utterly devoid of the comfort and amenities that I am accustomed to with quality B&B. Regarding the so-called "investigations", to CLARIFY, we remained in the room only as long as it took to gather our thoughts, and book alternate accommodations at a nearby Hotel. We never opened our suitcases, or the refrigerator, nor did we as much as lift the toilet seat, nor go anywhere near the shower. Our intention was to leave ASAP, and leave the room intact, hoping that the proprietor would demonstrate some understanding and common decency, and refund our money. Instead, we are confronted by his litany of lies.
