Comfy cabin, lovely people, convenient
Amazing hosts and house, it was hard to leave it, really. Felt like I was hosted at my family's house and they did everything they could to acomodate it. Beds were amazing, so comfy Kitchen had everything you need to cook Had a washing machine free of charge Has free parking in front of the house Space was nice to live in on rainy evenings We had fire for inside and outside area where you can make a fire Batroom floors are heated (and they were not in my next hotel) And the hosts were super responsive and genuinely lovely and helpful.
Everything was great, the only minus for a 7-10 days stay here would be that you are in the middle of Lofoten more or less, so it would mean a long drive to stay here for the whole trip, but I would have done it, this is how much I liked the place. For visiting the east part and surroundings it was perfect.

Lovely, spacious, real house in Ballstad. Great hosts. Not walkable to the centre of the town
It was lovely to be staying in a real house, full of charm and atmosphere. Loads of space, books, games, even a wood-burning stove for the cool evenings. Perfect welcome by the hosts. If you are interested in boats, there’s a working boatyard right next door.
Nothing, except to note that you cannot walk into Ballstad itself. There is little to see there in any event.

Nice rorbuer with reasonable price. Location is very good especially if you have a car.

Posizione ottima, in un bellissimo rorbur restaurato Nei dintorni, raggiungibile con auto a 5 min, c'è un supermercato e un grazioso bar con dolci ottimi La casa è molto accogliente e pulita, bagno caldo, si poteva asciugare velocemente l'abbigliamento utilizzato per il trekking
