A once in a lifetime trip! A must stay!
We had the most special time at Ndlovu Lodge and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more memorable safari experience. From the moment we arrived, everything about the lodge was incredible. The setting was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views overlooking the game reserve and our own private pool where we could relax and take in the surroundings. One of the highlights was having a few visits from the lodge’s very own resident elephant guest! There’s something incredibly special about sitting by the pool and watching an elephant wander past in the distance, it really doesn’t get much more magical than that. The food was delicious throughout our stay, with different meals prepared for us each day. Every meal felt thoughtful and special, and on our final evening the team went above and beyond by putting on a wonderful BBQ for us, which was the perfect way to end our stay. The service was exceptional. The entire team were so warm, welcoming and attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. When my luggage was delayed, the team even drove for over an hour to collect it for me. That level of care and hospitality really says everything about the people who work at Ndlovu. Of course, the game drives were the absolute standout of the stay. We went out on both a morning and evening drive each day and every drive brought something new and exciting. April, our safari guide and driver, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the reserve and its wildlife and made such an effort to ensure we had the best possible experience. His passion and knowledge really shone through, and thanks to him we were able to see an amazing variety of animals, including the Big Five. Thank you to April, Jan, Peter, Charnell and the rest of the Ndlovu team for making our honeymoon so special! We will be back!

Good food, lovely accommodation, great outside areas. Very friendly staff (shout out to April!). Owners were there every day as well. Easy to get to from Johannesburg
