    A peaceful and restful few days, a bit of luxury after mountain and jungle treks further north. Love

    We loved the great character of the historic building, with modern facilities. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the view over the river. The staff were excellent; friendly, helpful, efficient. The pool was just big enough and in the most beautiful verdant surroundings, with trees full of birdlife. We tried about everything vegetarian on the restaurant menu over our stay and I had a British style breakfast on two days, all were good, we enjoyed the food.

    A little more shade around the pool could perhaps enhance that area and maybe two small changing cubicals. A greater variety of alcoholic drinks at the bar. Nothing major.
