  The location is great close to the beach and activities. The property is safe and have everything you need. Basement parking available with trailer parking.

  On arrival we could not receive the tag/keys at the arranged time of 14:00 because the property was still being cleaned. We could only check in 2 hours later. The team that are used to clean the property did a very poor job. The following day we purchased our own mop and cleaning aids to clean the floors which was really sticky and dirty. The gas braai was also not cleaned. The tumble-dryer switches on but the drum does not turn. I had to ask the host to supply us with a dry rack, which he generously did.

  Neptune Terrace is the perfect lock-up-and-go apartment, offering excellent security, secure basement parking, and easy access for complete peace of mind. The spacious two-bedroom apartment is beautifully equipped with crisp white linen, a full bathroom with a bath and shower, a separate toilet, and a fully stocked kitchen complete with an air fryer, washing machine, and dryer—ideal for families of up to five. The private balcony offers stunning ocean views, making it the perfect spot to enjoy both sunrises and sunsets. Conveniently located within walking distance of Surfers Corner, cafés, and restaurants, it was especially great that our teens could safely walk to meet friends in the evenings.

  Nothing significant to mention. The only minor issues were that the floors seemed to have a cleaning product residue, leaving them feeling slightly greasy or sticky underfoot, and the dryer drum didn't turn, so we weren't able to use it.

  Disappointing Stay

  We loved the location and how safe it was here.

  Disappointing Stay at Neptune Terrace Unit 34 Unfortunately, our stay at Neptune Terrace Unit 34 was disappointing. Upon arrival, we noticed that the sliding door leading to the balcony from the lounge was locked, but there was no key provided. The sliding door in the main bedroom also opens onto the balcony, but although a key was in the lock, the locking mechanism was broken and the door could not be secured properly. As a result, cold wind came through the door throughout the night, making it very uncomfortable to sleep, and my husband ended up getting sick. The kitchen and lounge area were also infested with cockroaches, which was extremely unpleasant. I immediately informed the host about these issues after collecting the keys, as I wanted it to be clear that these problems existed before our arrival. Unfortunately, despite waiting two days, I never received any response or acknowledgement. The overall cleanliness was also below standard. There were used tissues on the floor in the main bedroom, the fridge was dirty, and the unit generally felt neglected and unclean. It's disappointing because the location is lovely, but the lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and communication made this stay far below expectations. I hope these issues are addressed for future guests.
