    Our host, Vera, was a very nice person. She started communicating with us by WhatsApp even before we took our flight to Sicily. She gave us good advice on restaurants. bars and shopping facilities. She even was prepared to make reservations in the restaurants. The (italian) breakfast was served about 200m further on a terras.

    A Wonderful Stay with a Sparkling Surprise (and a Minor Check-Out Adventure!)

    The room was beautifully and lovingly decorated, and everything was spotlessly clean. A special mention to the lovely housekeeper – she was absolutely wonderful, incredibly kind and thoughtful. The breakfast was also delicious. We would have liked a little more variety, especially some more savoury options, as there were mainly sweet things. But everything was freshly baked, warm and wonderfully crispy, so we really enjoyed it! The self check-in was very easy and convenient. Our absolute highlight, however, was the lovely surprise on our last night: a bottle of sparkling wine and rose petals on the bed. Such a beautiful and thoughtful gesture – it really made our last evening special! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and felt very welcome. You can really feel the love and attention to detail here. We would definitely come back!

    One minor thing would be the self check-out in our case. According to Booking.com, we were supposed to leave the keys in the room. Afterwards, we found ourselves standing outside the gate with no way to get out because the keys were inside. We ended up climbing over the gate – luckily we could laugh about it!.
