On booking it states there is oven, garden and terrace and bathrobes. None of this things are in the property. We choose this apartment for our honeymoon after travelling across Italy, to chill in Livorno, try to cook by ourselves using Italian local ingredients. We decided on it as it says it has oven, we mainly cook using oven. I confronted the owner, he blamed booking.com that the description is automated by them- yes it is, based on information the owner provides. Then owner said there is no garden or terrace in pictures so I shouldnt expect it and that all photos are show how the apartment looks like- yeah there is no but also in the pictures view from the bedroom window is not showed- 2 waste bins and mess. As I’m booking trough this portal I rely on all facilities list and description I shouldnt guess by pictures if mentioned things are there or not! Now owner or booking deleted garden and terrace but oven and bathrobes are still there! Most dishes were dirty or hazardous like a frying pan. On the wall it says that guest should clean dishes for next people- I agree but owner should check it before giving apartment to next guests.Dirty walls that look like mold, dirty couch, dangerous shower and horrible damp smell. Really dark, during the day there is no daylight at all. Couldn’t stand it and we managed to find something else for last night. Booking.com’s customer service was completely unhelpful. They ignored their own promised response times, made me waste nearly 40 minutes on international calls just to get an update, and ultimately offered a insultingly low fraction of the cost in credits for a accommodation that lacked basic advertised amenities and had safety/hygiene issues. Since Booking.com failed to protect me as a consumer and took no responsibility, I have been forced to escalate this matter through official external consumer protection channels.
