    Not comfortable or value for money

    Has a lot of potential

    Rooms not as described, no value for the 3 people staying. Not told they were rooms used for allowed pets in previous stays. Not told the spa was closed despite it being called a “Spa” hotel. Had a horrid smell in the hotel and generally felt like it was run down other than the toilets near reception

    Amazing location for Matlock Bath. Airy and light room with plenty if space and what looked like a brand new bathroom with modern facilities.

    The carpet in our room was marked as where the chairs in the dining room. Rather off putting and unnecessary

    Old grandeur in need of some refresh, but in a stunning location with an incredible wild swimming pool, with spring wate

    Somewhat creaky and dated, in need of some modernisation and refurbishment.

    No lift, so inaccessible for anyone with additional needs.

    Good location

    Breakfast tasty and well priced, excellent location for walking into Matlock Bath

    Room was extremely hot. Radiator was off but mains pipes appeared to be running through the room, so even with both windows open and the covers off I was far too hot
