The warm friendly welcome, the size of the room. The pub attached and last but not least the location.

There was nothing we didn't like

Surprising find, great for a family short stop - big and comfortable!

Updated rooms were modern and comfortable and we had the family room and it was huge! Wonderful size to fit everyone and our luggage comfortably! BIG bed was a plus! Much more space than the big chain budget hotels for a family of three. Lovely staff and great breakfast too.

Even though the bathroom had been renovated and was modern and spacious, and still had a bathtub (bonus!), the shower head was tiny! It was smaller than the palm of my hand (5'2'' woman)! Even I had to lean nearly onto the wall to get under the flow to wash! Easy, easy fix -please switch out the shower head!
