    Nice stay - good location for Newark

    The house was clean and beds were comfortable. Good location in centre of Newark. There is only a small sofa in the lounge at present but as weather was nice we sat out in the garden so not an issue. Host has also confirmed they will be replacing sofa. Previous comments had mentioned lack of some cutlery, namely teaspoons but everything was there when we stayed. Host responded very quickly to all messages & was very helpful.

    Nor a major issue but only 1 parking permit & even then you are not guaranteed a space if they are all taken. Our party had 3 cars, did manage to get a space with permit. There is secure parking a couple of minutes walk away next to Asda, not expensive.

    Overall, the stay was disappointing, and we wouldn’t choose to return.

    Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Had smart tv in the lounge area.

    The sofa was very uncomfortable, which was disappointing as you’d expect a holiday property to have comfortable seating for relaxing in the evenings. Although the property is advertised as sleeping six people, the small sofa only seats around three people, making it impractical for larger groups. The property could also have been a little cleaner, although it wasn’t terrible. On arrival, we were also given the wrong lockbox code and had to wait around 20 minutes for someone to call us back with the correct one. After a long day at work and travelling, this wasn’t an ideal start to our stay. Overall, the property has potential, but these issues affected our experience enough that we wouldn’t choose to book it again.
