Have visited several times over the years and always found the staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Atmosphere in the hotel relaxed and friendly. Food excellent
The price for dogs, £15 per dog per night, is expensive, especially if your dog or dogs are small, as ours are.

Staff were friendly and made you feel welcome, the restaurant looked out onto gardens and the food was good. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, we would stay there again.
We were happy with our stay for the short time we were there. We liked everything.

Great place to stay for a relaxing long weekend break, good location, great bar lovely hotel
Very easy check in and check out, lovley bar and loung with log fires and good selection of beers wines and spirits. Breakfats was very good and the fact you offeren#d bespoke eggs. Would have been nice to see some cumberland sausage. Room was good with great whirlpool bath
Staff were helpful but very mixed:front reception; good, bar staff- extremes: one great and very personable the other rather surly and did the bare minimum. Restaurant staff again very mixed some really welcoming and great service others very miserable.
