Not worth the money.
The location was great. We could walk to everything, but the hotel itself was disappointing. We paid $729/night plus a $40/night destination fee, plus$48/night for valet parking which is the only option because there is no self parking. Our room had a view of the harbor which was nice, unfortunately we also had a view of everything that the people in the three balcony/cabana rooms below us were doing. Conversely, they could look up and see into our room. Our room was fine, although we could hear our neighbors in the room next to us. If you are not a Bonvoy member the internet is roughly $12/day. Beware of the water bottle in your room! If you break the seal you own it ($15 charged to your room). The front desk insisted that it was clearly stated on the information card that the bottle cost $15. We could not see that on the card or the insert that was inside the bottle, and trust me, we looked. The front desk staff that we interacted with were not particularly friendly or interested in explaining the hotel’s policies. With the unanticipated parking and destination fees, we paid $817/day for our room. If you are only looking for a place to sleep and shower there are better options. Check some of the hotels in adjacent Middletown.
