    Excellent place to stay

    Spacious accommodation, beautifully decorated. The log fire was a bonus as it was cooler on an evening. Selection of board games and DVDs which kept our daughter entertained.

    Slightly out of the way so everything is at least 30min drive away. However, im clutching at straws as every drive in the Lake District is a beautiful one.

    A little bit overpriced considering the state we found it in.

    We liked the size, layout and location of the property

    The way the doors clunk when you close them, they need dampeners on them. You get woken up should people go to the toilet in the night. The cleanliness of the air fryer left a lot to be desired so we didn’t use it. Whoever was there before us had used the barbecue and left it strewn across the lawn together with a bag of rubbish and a discarded bottle of lighter fuel.

    It was a quiet place surrounded by nature. We could see rabbits and red squirrels from the window. The cabin was well-equipped, with a fully functional kitchen, and the information provided was excellent. There was a wide selection of DVDs, including some for children, and board games, so the whole family could enjoy themselves. It's also easily accessible to the Lake District tourist attractions, making it a wonderful location for a family getaway away from the hustle and bustle.

    Overall, it was a great stay, so there's nothing particularly bad about it, but I think it would be good to fix the toilet flush button. Also, the hand soap was out, so it would have been even better if there was something available to refill it.
