  Nice and clean boutique hotel, but service could be finessed

  Location is very central and entrance is on a nice pedestrian street in the core. We were greeted by a lovely male concierge who brought us to our room and explained all the amenities and offerings. It started strong as a boutique hotel with nice little touches. The shared areas were clean and updated. The pool is one of a kind and very relaxing.

  We had reserved a parking spot and after the first day, we found it was accidentally occupied by another car. The hotel staff asked us to park in another spot much further into the garage temporarily. After we returned to the hotel, they called our room to ask us to permanently switch parking spots rather than just ask the other car to go back to their designated spot. Ok np. They then proceeded to call our room 3x while we were trying to nap. When we finally answered they pressed for us to return the key fob designated to the original spot. We didn't understand the urgency that resulted in such a disruption to our stay. The staff are also a bit condescending but perhaps that's just the normal tone of hospitality staff here. The aforementioned pool was beautiful but unfortunately some of the jets were broken. There was also a sauna that was inoperable as well during our stay. Breakfast was a bit confusing. The first morning we were not greeted or explained that there were ala carte options from a menu, so we just ate bread and cheese. The next day we discovered there were eggs and omelettes available to order.

  Wonderful stay!

  Beautiful room, clean, great location and friendly staff. Breakfast is excellent!

  Got a little smoke smell in our room from kitchen in the evenings, I think through the air conditioning system. But we’d stay here again!

  We voelden ons erg welkom met veel aandacht!

  Locatie was top! Fijne uitvalsbasis om het eiland goed te verkennen. Nadeel is wel de parkeergelegenheid; je betaalt zo'n 20eu per dag aan parkeerkosten in een ondergrondse parkeergarage 2 min verderop. Het ontbijt was fijn; een buffet met daarnaast kaart om gerechten uit te kiezen. Iets meer variatie/uitbreiding zou wellicht wenselijk zijn. Je eet wel veel van hetzelfde, maar geen ramp. Verder was ik vooral te spreken over de vriendelijkheid van het personeel maar in het bijzonder het oog voor detail. Je ziet dat het beleid van het hotel duidelijk is om verwachtingen te overtreffen. Handgeschreven kaartjes, personalisatie, op de verjaardag van mijn partner een fles champagne met een taartje (als cadeautje) op de kamer. Overal lijkt aan gedacht te zijn! We voelden ons erg welkom.
