An authentic stay in a peaceful hidden gem of the Ionian Sea
We had a wonderful time at Nisaki B&B. The room was spacious, clean and well decorated well equipped with Air Conditioning, coffee machine, beach towels, Korres shower gel. The view through the olive trees onto the sea in stunning. The gym is very practical. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and there’s a lot of different choices. The size is quite generous so it will work as a lunch as well. Ksena is a great chef. Yum. There’s no Market at the island, but you can buy some snack at the B&B or the local tavernas. Chris offers a lot of activities, e-bikes, golf carts…. You can really live the island as you prefer. We loved walking and taking our time to get to places. They also have very comfortable sun beds at the main beach and the old port. Couldn’t ask for more. A plus: We paid 150€ for a transfer by boat from Corfu. It saved us a lot of time, the trip is stunning and Chris proposed a stop at this beautiful island for a quick swim. The best way to start your holiday! Totally worth it.

A simply stunning, nature-lovers paradise.
Beautiful location, gorgeous view of the sea and mountains. Silent, apart from the cicadas and the distant sound of the waves on the beach below. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the beds were the comfiest we’ve had in Greece. Mathraki itself is breathtakingly beautiful, with a laid back vibe we loved. It’s also so quiet - we were often on the beach with only one or two other people (sometimes none), which I have never experienced in Greece in July before! Chris and Senya were attentive, helpful and charming. We are recommending this place to everyone we meet on our travels and are already discussing when we will next return. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
