Nice pool, trash on beach
The property is gorgeous. The pool was the highlight. Hours spent there.
This is a hard one. I don’t like writing anything ill but I felt misled. I had starting reading things online about trash on the beaches at Koh lanta. I have two very young children so became concerned before our arrival. I emailed the hotel with my concern and they said the beach was clean and safe. However when I arrived there was quite a bit of trash on the beach. I discouraged my children from playing on the beach for this reason. I was really disappointed the hotel misled me. I would have cancelled our trip and eaten up the costs (as we were past our free cancellation period) had the hotel given me an honest answer. I had hoped in bringing up my young children and my concerns for their safety, the hotel would have given me an honest answer of the state of the beach as it is a safety issue and maybe even have offered me the opportunity to cancel. I thought maybe their staff would clean our section of the beach but they didn’t. They seemed to just rake a small section near the recliners.

Чудесные ребята в баре. Чистый приятный бассейн. И вообще, симпатичный отель, приятно посидеть вечером с видом на закат.

Nice resort, very quiet and isolated. Not very good value for money.
The crew was very nice. The drinks (cocktails and smoothies) were great! The public area was very tidy and clean. Scooters rentals was very cheap and they gave us very good ones too.
Because we were the only guests at the resort, breakfast was à la cart. In addition, because it was “off season” (I guess. We were at the beginning of October), some features of the resort weren’t operative - no pool bar, no beach beds, the beach next to the resort was too quiet with actually nothing in it). In order to get to the Main Street you have to walk about 15-20 minutes. Overall it is a decent resort, but value for money, it was quite disappointing. BTW, there is no reception at the entrance which is very weird when you first get in.
