    A warm, welcoming and character-filled place with thoughtful touches and good facilities.

    I really enjoyed the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of the breakfast room, where everything was clearly labelled and ready well before 8 am. I particularly appreciated having tea and coffee facilities available upstairs, so I could enjoy an early morning or late-night cuppa while sitting on the veranda. Although the bathroom was shared, it was spacious, spotless and thoughtfully furnished, with chairs to put my clothes and towel on while showering. What I loved most, though, was the collection of paintings and interesting objects throughout the house. They gave the place such warmth and character that I felt more like a welcome guest in a friend's home than someone staying in paid accommodation.
