  AN UNFORGETTABLE STAY FOR THE WRONG REASON.

  The location is calm and quiet, full of street side trees and shrubs giving a pleasant feeling. It is an housing colony. At walkable distance there is a cafetaria. About a kilometer away there is good vegetarian resteaurant for eating and takeaways. Call taxis are available near by. There is parking space for one car. The host (Dr. Sudarshan) has an edearing demeanor which makes the guests happy. I too was not an exception; but did it translate into a satisfying stay?

  We got a two BHK apartment on the first floor. We checked in on 4th Oct and Checked out on 7th Oct early morning. No lift available. No breakfast provided. The bath room and toilet were awful. Bathroom walls and taps appeared never cleaned. Toilet seat was broken (which was reapired on complainig). Towels, soap, shower gel, hand wash or any other esseltial toileteries were not available when we checked in. When complained, the owner brought some coloured towel and soap the day before we departed. The bed linen and towels brought after complaining appeared uncleaned as it was coloured, so we used what we carried. There is no care taker to call for any help. The owner, who stays at an unknown distance away, acts as caretaker. AC is fitted in one bed room; but one has to pay extra money for using it. We paid; but the owner did not give the remote. When complained he gave it on the day before our departure. Kitchen utensils were left uncleaned by the previous user and was not readied for the new guests. Some tea leaves were left in a tin; but could not be used because it was difficult to know how many years old it is. The kitchen cupboards was filled with left over materials from some maintenance works. Also, they were filled with dust and moss. The floor and walls appeared clean but walking on the floor barefoot revealed that it was covered with fine sand. Dust bins were not provided in the rooms or kitchen. One dust bin was placed on the verandah (balcony). So, every time one needed to dispose something, a short walk was necessary. Verandah (balcony) was filled with cleaning materials like mops and brooms, gas cylinders etc. The stair case was poorly lit, so using it in the night was difficult. Similarly, a portion of the car porch was used as a dumping area for unwanted items. During our stay no one came to clean rooms.Travellers choosing this place should remeber to carry, towels, bedsheets and all the toileteries needed and a good quantity of atiseptinc lotion.
