Sehr gutes Angebot an tiefgefrorenen Mahlzeiten und Beilagen, sowie Getränke im Haus! Kein Problem, wenn man ohne Proviant kommt! Freundlicher, unkomplizierter ‚staff‘!

Excellent
Spacious, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The place comfortably sleeps 6 adults and is clean and very well kept. The kitchen is also well equipped, which was really useful for our family. It’s right by a lovely stream, and you can hear the water flowing — very relaxing! There’s plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run around and play. We stayed here as a base for visiting Shinhotaka Ropeway and Kamikochi, and the location worked very well for us. It’s very quiet and really feels like a stay in nature. There’s one bathroom and one toilet, which was manageable for us. Food options nearby were quite limited during our stay, so it’s worth planning ahead or getting groceries. A lovely choice if you’re looking for a clean, spacious and peaceful stay close to nature.

Wir haben uns in dieser wunderschönen, großzügigen Wohnung rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung bietet sehr viel Platz und liegt mitten im Wald – wunderbar ruhig und abgeschieden, ideal zum Erholen und Abschalten. Die direkte Lage am Bach sorgt für eine besonders beruhigende Atmosphäre. Gleichzeitig ist die Unterkunft ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen und Ausflüge in die Natur. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles in allem ein perfekter Ort, um Ruhe zu genießen, neue Energie zu tanken und die Natur zu erleben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
Aufgrund des nahe gelegenen Onsen hatten wir je nach Windrichtung etwas Geruchsbelästigung Aufgrund des Schwefels.

very happy with our stay
Place as described, location perfect to explore Norikura and area around it. Big apartment, enough space for a family (3 kids). Really a nice place and surroundings. Kids could also play around the house. There are just 2 apartments in the house and this former lodge is quite big so it's also very private even if somebody using another place. Bring cash to Norikura Kogen as the only ATM there is not accepting foreigner cards. Bus stop is 100m from the house if needed. 3 easy/medium hikes starts 100m from the house as well. As the place is at almost 1500m high in the mountains it is much cooler then most of Japan in August (so instead of usual 35C temp there it is 25C max).
