A very comfortable stay in a great location
The host provided excellent instructions on how to access Northstay. It is a short uphill walk from the centre of Tromso to the apartment with a Kiwi supermarket on the way which was very convenient as we arrived to the airport and didn't have a car. The apartment was very quiet and really suited us for two nights with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable meals and lounge areas. The bathroom had lots of space to place our things (many don't) and there was the bonus of a washing machine which is very helpful for those like us travelling for extended periods (although for those wanting a quick turnaround there is no dryer - only a drying rack which worked fine for us). We would definitely choose to stay there again if we are lucky enough to come back in the future.
I am used to a dark bedroom and waking up at midnight or the early hours of the morning and seeing daylight at the window was disconcerting. I guess that is part of the Norway journey! We would have liked to have access to free-to-air television stations to keep up with the news but there were no instructions for the tv and it appeared to be apps only.

It was a very comfortable apartment with everything you needed for a self-sufficient stay.
The apartment was spotless, modern and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to cook. Communication with the host was efficient.
In such a cold climate, I would have preferred an earlier check-in. The shower could do with a basket/tray to put soap & shampoo, rather than the floor. It was lacking Tromso tourism information that you get in other properties. I left a Tromso city map there, I hope they keep it and then other tourists will add to it. The instructions for taking the rubbish downstairs need to state that you need to take your key disc with you so that you can get back into the stairwell.
