Mehr 60er-Jahre-Charme als Luxus
Die Unterkunft hatte durchaus einen gewissen nostalgischen Charme. Die Anlage war ruhig und bot mit der Feuerstelle eine schöne Möglichkeit, den Abend gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen. Auch die Lage in der Nähe der Küste war grundsätzlich schön, wenngleich wir leider keine Wale gesehen haben.
Die Ausstattung war für ein als „Luxus-Apartment“ beworbenes Angebot enttäuschend. Nicht einmal Salz und Pfeffer waren vorhanden. Zwar gab es eine Feuerstelle, allerdings mussten wir Holz, Feuerzeug und alles Weitere selbst kaufen. Solche grundlegenden Dinge hätten wir bei diesem Anspruch erwartet. Auch die Anfahrt hinterließ ein merkwürdiges Gefühl. Man fährt zunächst durch ein Gewerbegebiet und an einem Township vorbei. Natürlich gehört das zur Realität Südafrikas. Trotzdem fühlt es sich befremdlich an, kurz darauf in einem etwas künstlich wirkenden Luxusidyll anzukommen, während wenige Meter zuvor Kinder am Straßenrand sitzen und betteln. Dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts, aber dieser Kontrast hat uns durchaus beschäftigt. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung, allerdings passten für uns Anspruch, Ausstattung und tatsächliches Erlebnis nicht wirklich zusammen.

mooie comfotabele overnachtingsadres
alles klopte, mooi dak terras, prachtig uitzicht. de volgende keer moeten we hier langer blijven
voor ons niks, je kan alleen niet zo makkelijk even naar een restaurant of supermarkt lopen
