    Quirky little pub

    Excellent breakfast

    This was a last minute booking & I didn't realise when we booked that the pub shuts at 6.30pm on a Sunday and stops serving food at lunchtime. Set in a quaint village with no other pubs or amenities. We were in Room 2 which has a lovely double bed but the TV is at right angles to the bed and there are no chairs to sit on, so watching the TV is a bit of a challenge. The radiator in the bathroom did not work but water was hot in the shower and we were provided with milk in a flask to have tea and coffee after the pub had closed. Breakfast was amazing and the pub itself is really quirky! We especially loved the top hat lampshades. The local church is well worth a visit as it's steeped in history.

    A proper long weekend in a beautiful part of the world. Exmoor and the Quantocks both stunning.

    Original freshly prepared food. Excellent choice range for vegetarians and carnivores. Friendly and helpful staff.
