Super und weiterzuempfehlen
Novita und ihre Familie sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden direkt am Hafen von allen mit Namen begrüßt und dann direkt abgeholt und zur Unterkunft gebracht. Die Zimmer sind nett eingerichtet und die Klima war sehr wichtig. Sie hat direkt Empfehlungen für Tauchschulen, Essen und man konnte bei ihnen eine Delfintour buchen. Im Gegensatz zu ein paar anderen Booten ging Novitas husband sehr respekvoll mit den Delfinen um und stellte wenn sie nah waren den Motor ab oder fuhr sehr langsam. Es war eine ganz tolle Erfahrung.

Serious problem with the owner's behaviour
The location, but any location is that small island will be good
I stayed at Novita Homestay from 13 to 16 August 2026. Unfortunately, my experience was seriously affected by the behaviour of the owner, Novita. On 14 August, I joined a dolphin-watching excursion organised directly by the homestay. Before going, I clearly explained to Novita and her husband that I was only interested in joining because I wanted the possibility of swimming with dolphins. They told me that I could do so. We spent several hours looking for dolphins but did not see any. The excursion also lasted until around 15:00, although I had been told we would return around 12:00, which caused me to lose another activity I had planned. I paid the requested 400,000 IDR for the excursion. I never refused to pay. When I returned, I calmly explained to Novita that I was disappointed because the main reason I had accepted the excursion had not happened. Instead of allowing me to explain, she became very aggressive, repeatedly shouted at me to pay immediately, told me to leave her house, and said that she had never had a guest like me. She also told me that I had “the face of a bad person” and that she had known this from the first moment she saw me. After I paid, I was leaving to go snorkeling independently. At that moment, knowing that I was about to go into the sea, she told me that she hoped a current would take me away. I asked her what she had said, and she repeated it. This was extremely disturbing, particularly because it happened immediately after an aggressive confrontation and while I was about to go snorkeling. The incident took place at the entrance of the property, where there is a CCTV camera apparently covering the area. I have a photograph of the camera taken from the location where the incident happened. I did not report the incident to Booking while I was still on Bunaken because I was concerned about possible retaliation.
