You always dream of a place like this! This was by far our best vacation! This island set the bar so high that we feel no other vacations will live up to it. The staff was amazing and the food was wonderful! Drinking kava every evening with the crew and sharing stories was magical. The owners gave us a personalized tour of Labasa and meeting the people was amazing. If you enjoy scuba, diving and or snorkeling, every place we went was amazing. A big thank you to all!

We had an excellent time on our vacation and made lifelong friends with the staff. The food was excellent, and the service was the best we’ve ever received. Highly recommend this as a vacation destination andthe diving was excellent.

Not my cup of tea
The staff was good for the resources they had. It was fun getting to really know the Fijian culture. They offer many excursions if you are able. Also, major points for being nearly 100 percent sustainable.
They were advertised as an adult-only, all-inclusive resort, and it wasn't either of those things. Also, just a heads up there's no TV or wifi in the room. They are also not handicap accessible at all. There were some sacrifices made to be sustainable.

Loved it!
Nukubati Island Resort is an amazing place. It is remote and there is nothing nearby like restaurants and shops. But the resort food is excellent with a 2-3 entree choices at each mean and lots of the food is grown in their own garden. There is no restaurant schedule so you can eat at any time of day. This resort has the closest access to the Great Sea Reef (3rd largest in the world) and is easy to see for snorkelers even since it is shallow. The staff at Nukubati are really what make the resort what it is. There are only 7 cottages or bures and so everyone is on a first name basis and they remember what you like to drink. And they truly want to make your stay memorable. The Honeymoon Bure was very large with a huge bathroom. The only reason for not giving 5 full stars is there is no aircon and some afternoons we needed it and the place is slightly dated. It is all scrupulously clean and very comfortable. Come here if you want a relaxing and unplugged vacation. (There is wifi in the restaurant/lounge). We loved our stay here!

Wonderful experience. Food was excellent. Staff was excellent.WIFI is hit or miss. If you must have WIFI this is not the place for you. This is a older resort that is well maintained. I highly recommend the private island picnic. Snorking is excellent with plenty to see. Although the staff is small they are very attentive. I cannot say enough about this wonderl staff. My husband and I would absolutely do it again.
