Bright and refurbished lovely apartment in a super convenient location.
Helenburgh is a wonderful town. This bright apartment is in a super convenient location. Close to everything you could want and need, including across the road a supermarket that is open til 22:00, so you can buy essentials like milk even if you have a late arrival. The place is clean, fresh and refurbished. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed is comfortable. We had family visit so we did have to move the bedroom chair into the sitting area to enable four to sit. The put up dining table was a great addition. The location is far more quiet than I expected, no noise from neighbours and minimal from the road despite being so centrally located and the bedroom at the front of the house. All the information we needed arrived in a timely fashion.
I see others have raised most of the same issues over a long period but I will raise them again as they did detract from the pleasure of our stay. There is no towel rail, shelves or cabinet or sufficient hooks in the bathroom. The bedroom has no luggage rack, shelves or drawers. For two of us there was one hand towel and the 2 bath towels are small. The outside temperature was 4-6 degrees and despite the heating being on the floor remained extremely cold throughout our couple of nights stay. There is only one rug.
