    The location is very close to the center—just a ten-minute walk away. The room and the bathroom were clean, comfortable, and enough big. Also, the lady who runs the place was very kind...

    the bathroom is outside the room, requiring you to pass through a common area to reach it; however, this didn't really spoil the experience, as we got used to it after the first day. The sound isolation is poor, and the water pressure pump is very noisy. Breakfast was good, but for those who aren't "true" Italians, it’s not quite enough...

    Disappointing

    Unfortunately, the stay was disappointing. The only positives were the good location and working air conditioning.

    The room and furnishings were old, dirty and poorly maintained. There was visible dust on the mirror and furniture, dirt on the floor, and the bed linen was dirty and even visibly mended, as shown in the photos. The towels, once white, were now grey. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, with the mattress sinking about 20 cm, and it was also smaller than advertised- approximately 120 cm instead of the 140 cm expected for an "alla francese" bed. They also do not accept card payments. I paid via PayPal and was then asked by the owner to pay an additional €10 in cash because PayPal had deducted a fee from her payment. This should not be an extra cost passed on to the guest and could easily be avoided by accepting card payments. Overall, the accommodation did not meet reasonable expectations for cleanliness and comfort.
