  Poor Cleanliness, Uncomfortable Room and Less Privacy Than Expected

  From the outside, the property looked modern and well-maintained, and the photos initially gave us the impression that we would have a good stay. Unfortunately, that impression quickly faded once we started using the room. Cleanliness was a major disappointment. On arrival, the toilet smelled strongly of urine and had visible traces of feces, which was unacceptable. The floors were dusty and dirty, and our luggage picked up dirt from them. This was well below our expectations and made us question the value of what we had paid. The room was also uncomfortable and poorly laid out. It was upstairs, under a sharply sloping ceiling, making it awkward to move around and causing us to bump our heads several times. The lighting was insufficient, while unnecessary decorations and bulky furniture took up space without serving any real purpose. Rather than feeling welcoming, the room felt cramped, cluttered and poorly organised. The many decorative objects made it visually overwhelming rather than comfortable or relaxing, and the furniture left little sense of open, usable space. We had expected a more private experience, ideally in a self-contained studio. In reality, this was a large house with multiple rooms rented separately, more like a guesthouse or small hotel than a private studio. The host was frequently present, sometimes leaving us with the uncomfortable feeling that we were being watched rather than able to relax in privacy. Communication was also difficult because the host could not speak English, making it harder to communicate effectively. Overall, the stay fell well short of our expectations. The difference between the modern presentation and the actual experience was disappointing. Poor cleanliness, an uncomfortable and cluttered room, less privacy than expected and communication difficulties made the stay unpleasant and did not justify the price we paid.
