    Just brilliant

Took my partner, neice and dog to the lodge for a week away during the summer holidays. It was the prefect holiday!!!! The lodge tucked into a little corner under the trees making it our own little area away from all the other cabins, traffic and people. The cabin was in the shade which was perfect in the heatwave. It had everything in there you could ask for, including a BBQ we used everyday. Also the area is perfect for walking and a base for driving. Club was also great and did lovely pizzas.

A spider I found in my shorts because I left them outside over night. Hahahaha.

It was the best lodge I’ve ever stayed at me and my friends couldn’t stop complimenting the place

I loved how open plan it was and how although your in the middle of nowhere your still close to so much stuff

The carpet was a little rough to sit in but we put a blanket down and it was fine

We made it a fun filled weekend for our grandchildren but in retrospect we wouldn't return.

Clean and well laid out accommodation. Well equipped, very quiet and close to the pool, which is well maintained with plenty of sunbeds and seating. We did enjoy our weekend there but I feel that's because we made it so, rather than relying on the general offering of this lodge and holiday park.

The lodge had a definitive smell throughout...we brought air freshener so for day to day we masked it but our clothes, (including items not worn but just hung up) are now in the wash, having picked up the all pervading odour, a kind of stale dampness. The hot water is extremely intermittent, mostly not sufficient and sometimes (briefly) almost scolding... definitely needs sorting out. The WiFi is also quite unstable i.e. not always there when you want it. The shower is powerless, a dribble and unsatisfying. The bar is ok but it's only cans or bottles (a can of Carling is £4.20)..which is somewhat exploiting the fact that the holiday park is a couple of miles from Cenarth with nothing in-between. Timings are weird, pool opens at 10am but not the 'cafe' (no food or even a coffee)...in fact there's no-one around then. The pool access closes at 5.30pm, although it doesn't actually close until circa 7pm and the bar (in the pool area) seems to open around 6pm.

Great base to attend the local Eisteddfod in Llantwd.

The quiet surroundings and ease of finding the place.

Because the chalet is in the shade it was quite chilly inside and felt a little damp.

Clean, cosy and well stocked cabin. We stayed for a family event nearby, so didn't get a chance to explore the site or visit local attractions, but what we did see was lovely.
