Great location to explore East Devon
The location was great. Comfortable beds. Good shower. Good TV and WiFi. Despite being on a busy road it was very quiet.
Musty/damp smell in the living room. Oven grill not working properly. Bath towels too small and no shampoo provided. No milk. Outside bins full on arrival, onus on guests to empty it. Back yard handy for dog but unkempt, with some TLC it could be a lovely space.

Thank you for a nice stay, it was appreciated
The property was situated within easy walking distance of where wanted to be and go, and that was the idea of booking nutshell. The cottage was well equipped for our needs during our stay. We only had one issue in our stay, and that was getting the induction hob functional. A quick message to the owner and that was sorted very quickly. We had a very nice stay, the owners have done a lovely job with the property which we enjoyed. Thank you
There was only one issue we didn’t like. We parked up in orchard road car park as was the suggestion given to us. The charges are from 8am to 6pm, and you pay £11 for the privilege. This is the summer charge with the winter charge being a little less. I was able to juggle the parking to avoid parking charges, driving instead of walking. However if you time it right and and pay slightly more, it does roll over till the next day. This would be the only reason for not booking again, but for a few days we managed okay. Could the owners look at a parking permit at all for the area?

The cottage itself
Operating the stovetop we are not used to modern appliances and didn't know how to operate the touch controls by holding down. Also a little difficulty figuring out the washing machine.

The cottage was very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. It is in a good location with Beer and Lyme Regis very close.
