    Heerlijke plek met voldoende ruimte om Kopenhagen te ontdekken.

    De ligging van het appartement

    Er zijn geen huisnummers en toch wel behoorlijk wat trappen ;-). En er miste een koffiezetapparaat. Deze stond wel op de foto’s! De opgang is niet verzorgd en rommelig (het hek en de eerste deur)

    Spacious, in a perfect location, but poorly maintained and below basic standards of cleanliness

    The apartment is very spacious and the location is absolutely perfect for visiting Copenhagen. These were definitely the strongest points of our stay.

    Unfortunately, the overall condition, maintenance and cleanliness of the apartment were very disappointing. We were aware from previous reviews that the apartment was older, which was not a problem for us. However, being old is very different from being poorly maintained and inadequately cleaned. The bathroom and shower were particularly disappointing. There were missing/damaged tiles, significant signs of wear and deterioration, and the drainage did not work properly. During a shower, water remained standing on the floor for a considerable amount of time, meaning we were effectively standing in dirty shower water. There were also visible issues with the curtains, carpets, flooring and other furnishings, including (blood?) staining on the linen. When I raised this issue, the host did propose to replace them the next morning, but since we were staying there with only 3 people, we just switched it with one of the linen from the other beds. In our opinion, the apartment did not meet what we would consider even a basic standard of accommodation. The description referring to it as “luxurious” is therefore very misleading. The location and spaciousness were accurately advertised, but the condition of the apartment was not. We documented the issues with photographs. We also contacted the host about our concerns and unfortunately received no response, even after sending a polite reminder. Booking.com was subsequently contacted regarding the matter. Had the apartment been accurately represented, this wouldn't be an issue.
