Never had such a comfortable, welcoming home away that I wanted to make permanent like this Oakshaw apartment.
Wonderfully welcoming decor in historic district of Paisley blending fine architectural detail with period and eclectic furnishings. Lots of light from beautiful tall windows even on cloudy days. Generous rooms. Easy access. Kind hosts who provided extra keys when temporarily misplaced originals. Appliance manuals allowed proper use of kitchen . Never had a more comfortable, short (2week ) stay in years of Scottish visits.
The uphill walk at days end until I favored the exercise. Well worth the destination lovely lounge area.

Great home. Stylish. Good communication from host.
It’s in a great location. Lovely conservation area. 10 min walk to the railway station.
If you’re driving a car, you have to pay for parking and can’t stay for more than 4 hours - 8am to 6.15pm ( free in between those hours) so can be challenging if you’re at home during the day.
