Warm and cozy
I’m not usually the type of person to complain however thought I’d address 2 things; The shower is unshowerable with temperatures switching either freezing cold or boiling hot (enough to actually burn someone). Tried for 10mins to get temperature to a usable temp and just wouldn’t happen. Secondly the couch was very uncomfy, seems like it’s broke in some way but there’s no support on the cushion you sit on, would be more comfy sat on the floor.

Awful
The location was central in Bowness
Parking instructions were not clear, the plumbing/boiler noise was absolutely horrendous, every time our property used water or the neighbouring property upstairs (which started at 1am until the morning) it sounded like a plane going over, followed by loud banging, resulting in 2 hours of sleep. Completely unacceptable and not suitable for people to be able to sleep there, the neighbouring property above us was also running across the floor from 5am until 7am, the water did not heat up in the shower (despite following instructions provided) so I had a lovely freezing cold shower in the morning to follow my 2 hours of sleep. I have never had to make a complaint about a stay before but I will be making a complaint via booking.com I have taken videos of the loud noise. The sofa felt like a rock and the property was not very clean. Extremely disappointing as the property does have good points such as it being central to the town and nicely decorated it has just been severely let down by the noise , facilities and cleanliness.
