    The house has enough room, space and clean.

    We booked this house for the weekend for a family reunion in Vegas. No, we did not host the party there. The house was great and spacious. It had all the amenities we were looking for to be comfortable. After a long drive from San Diego, the property manager (who we thought was the owner) knocked on the door to introduce himself and let us know he was staying in the garage, so if we needed anything we could easily let him know. I thought, “Cool, no biggie, warm welcome.” THEN it got SUPER WEIRD and honestly a bit creepy…. We came home the next night after the reunion around 11 pm. Everyone was tired and ready for bed. Not even 10 mins after, the property manager knocked on the door and demanded we pay the $250 cleaning fee w/c he claimed Booking.com “forgot” to include in the advertisement. (it was, we checked) Furthermore he wanted it paid directly to him. (???!!) Obviously, we thought this was a bit shady. Everything was already paid in full at checkout sir! Long story short, Im glad we were there with my parents (who are in their 70’s and not tech savvy) Otherwise, they would have felt like they did something wrong and paid him. We called booking.com customer service and they called him to explain he cannot charge us. However, what sucks most of all was that it put a damper on everyone’s “vacation vibe” and on an otherwise great weekend with the fam. If we wanted less privacy, we could have booked a hotel room and put a “do not disturb” sign on our door. Be warned. Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else
