  We did not stay here due to discomfort and security of the place

  We did not stay here unfortunately due to not feeling safe

  The location of the property has a lot of dust, unpaved road with no beach view. The access to the beach is not comfortable nor that quick to get to. It is not that close to the center town where all the restaurants and bars are. This is better if you have a car or a scooter. I would not feel comfortable walking here from town at night. Inside the home, bedroom is stale and the main sliding doors do no lock! Anyone can hop over the walls and take your passport or valuables during the day or come in at night while you sleep. Host was not as responsive as we wished she was. You may have issues contacting her if you need quick help. This place would be better once construction is done and owner puts locks on doors and windows. For now, I do not recommend this place. WE LEFT AFTER TWO HOURS IN THE VILLA AFTER FINDING OUT THE PLACE DID NOT LOCK.

  Lovely stay by Zicatela

  It was a comfortable stay. The villa made us feel at home. The facilities were nice and so was the location - very close to the beach to catch the sunsets or walk to a few restaurants that are about 10-15 mins away. The owner was quick in getting an issue fixed with the door lock which was great! The pool was fantastic to cool us down during the days and even nights as Puerto Escondido can get very hot during the days!

  There's construction going on in front of and behind the property, which is not the owners fault. But the workers can see the pool area if they wanted to. So, a barrier has been put on one side, so that nobody can see inside. We appreciated that. The bathroom is very nice but can get a bit humid. So, a fan could be fitted to improve the ventilation.

  Perfect for a couple 🩷

  It’s very nice very close to la punta but in a very quiet spot it has air conditioner so makes your rest more pleasant 🩷 communication with owner really easy totally worth it

  If you are vacationing and don’t mind construction noise at 7:30 it’s ok

  I believe this ad was misleading making someone believe there are a few villas together. It’s an Airbnb! Once booked i received all information from host. The villa is secluded, two houses from the paved road, it’s on a dirt road. Easy to find box and get keys. We arrived on a Sunday, at 7:30 on Monday morning, we were woken up by construction noise and extremely lound Mexican music behind the villa and front. There is a reason why earplugs are provided but we didn’t know until booked! Host sent a message to keep AC off when not there and that extra charges will be applied if went over limit. The roof top has two wooden chairs and beach view blocked by building under construction. Saw a few roaches wondering around in bathroom, a light sewer smell can be noted in the bathroom. Over all I will rate this villa as a 7 due to the fact of many little observations. Fresh bottle of water provided, must take your own trash outside when leaving and towel service only if you stay more than six days. Hot water was good, NO safe box provided. It’s a pretty lay back and quite area. However my biggest problem was the construction noise, the construction is half way so it would probably take another year before it gets close to being done. Workers are able to see down the villa so no privacy between 7:30-1700.
