Amazing Honeymoon with outstanding service and food

We had a fantastic honeymoon at OBLU SELECT Lobigili. Everything was smooth from the airport transfer to check-in, and the entire team was genuinely warm, friendly and attentive. A special thank you to Mechelle, our host, who kept us updated on daily activities and made us feel well taken care of. Irene, Harry from restaurant, and Divya also deserve recognition for their thoughtful and personal service. The food was excellent and varied, with European, Asian and Maldivian cuisine, plus live cooking stations. Only BLU, the underwater restaurant, was an unforgettable experience, and Lobster Night at Gaadiya 17 was another highlight. The house reef was fantastic for snorkelling. We saw plenty of reef sharks and even turtles near the island. The included watersports and excursions added a lot of value to our stay. We especially loved the turtle excursion, where we saw several turtles and received great GoPro footage from the guides. The resort has a beautiful, intimate and romantic atmosphere, ideal for couples and honeymoons. A few minor areas for improvement: more fresh tropical fruit options, a daytime coffee and pastry or ice cream station, and slightly faster service during à la carte dinners. These small points did not change our overall impression. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Lobigili to couples looking for a memorable Maldives experience.

    Einfach traumhaft!
