  Beware- Owner is a NIGHTMARE.

  The condo had a beautiful view of the ocean and the sunset. The availability of the golf cart was helpful as it was only a 10-minute ride into the main town area in Avalon. The property had a swimming pool as well. Security is tight and they only allow renters and owners onto the property grounds.

  I waited a while before writing this to see if the owner would make things right. She offered us a $50 credit towards the $845 rental cost for our inconvenience. My review will allow you to determine if this is someone you would want to deal with. By the way, she owns five properties at Hamilton Cove, so beware! We arrived in the evening after dark. There are FIVE flights of stairs to the condo. We had a hard time finding heat in the condo, so we used a small electric heater next to the bed. The next morning, we were informed that there was a large electric heater beneath the TV in the living room, but it was hidden because the cabinet doors were closed. But according to the owner, we should have known it was there because the Booking.com pictures clearly show it is there! We woke at 0500 to shower and get downtown to watch the runners take off for their 50k. However, there was no hot water, and after spending 45 minutes running both showers and faucets, we gave up on the shower and left. The owner was contacted by text at 0600. She responded at 0800 and provided us with the local host name and number. We texted Ana, and she offered to go to the unit and reset the breakers. She said the water heater was just replaced as well. Later, Ana texted back and confirmed that there was no hot water and offered to allow us to shower at the swimming pool bunkhouse or another unit of theirs. Our boat was leaving soon, so we did not have time to shower. Not only did we not have heat in the condo, but we also didn't get to enjoy a warm shower before leaving. We paid $845 for less than 24-hours in their unit. I asked the owner to reimburse us 50% of the cost, and she declined, only offering us $50. The owner said over and over, "The hot water works perfectly". The owner was not on the island and never stuck her hand under that cold water once. We spent hours of our precious time dealing with things that should have been taken care of.

  Greatest Catalina trip ever!!!

  It was clean and beautiful and awesome and Amber from Catalina Dream Vacations was awesome and the best help I’ve ever had !!!

  Just amazing!!!!! I loved this place.

  This Villa was so pretty. I feel like I was in Greece. It was very easy to get in contact with anyone if I had any questions it was so clean and just beautiful. You can’t read the views oh my gosh, we’ll definitely go again.!!! And the golf cart was a BIG PLUS….Such the nicest people in town and everyone seemed to really love their jobs!

  Lots of steps up to our villa, which we didn’t know about. It was a little hard on us old ladies with bad knees😞

  It was quaint and had beautiful views. Difficult for my elderly parents to get to the room so they often times chose to

  I loved the views and the decor.

  We came to our room and found a leak in the master bathroom. I called the property manager and it was almost as if I was inconveniencing her when I called. She just said ok I’ll call the HOA. I mentioned I placed towels down and that I was using a trash can to catch the water. I was a bit concerned because the water was pouring out from the light fixture. I also did not like the fact that I was unaware of the amount of stairs. I had my older parents who struggled to get to our room. Had I known they were handicap accessible I would have stayed somewhere else for this trip.
