  A stressful family stay with police threats, upsetting treatment and serious concerns about cleanliness, maintenance and

  Unfortunately, the problems with the apartment and the host’s communication overshadowed our stay.

  This was meant to be a relaxing family holiday, but we felt intimidated and uncomfortable staying in the apartment. The host repeatedly threatened in writing to call the police and have us removed following alleged noise complaints. We disputed the allegations of repeated arguments. We acknowledged that our son sometimes spoke loudly while gaming with headphones, apologised and agreed to keep the noise down. When we became suddenly unwell and vomited, we apologised, addressed the mess and offered €20 towards the inconvenience. Despite this, the messages remained hostile. Requests for basic supplies received rude responses. When my partner asked for toilet roll, the host replied, “Are you kidding me or what ???” His communication made us reluctant to raise further problems. On departure day, our request for late checkout was refused, with checkout remaining at 11 am. We accept that. However, our luggage was placed outside the apartment, and my partner reports that the host shouted and swore at her in front of our child and slammed the door in her face. She was left crying. We have a photograph of the luggage outside and a recording relating to the door incident. There were also serious concerns about the apartment. We saw ants and cockroaches, including around the balcony drain. The shower had heavy limescale and poor water flow. The freezer was cracked and heavily iced up, while the fridge cooled poorly and leaked water. The sofa bed would not stay properly supported, and some doors were difficult to close. There was no air conditioning, and the fans provided were unstable; one fell and caught my partner’s finger. My partner and son also reported receiving electric shocks when using the plug or extension arrangement near the television. These experiences left us concerned about safety. Netflix had been specifically promised before arrival but was unavailable throughout our stay.

  Een heerlijk, rustig en schoon verblijf met een prachtig uitzicht en alles wat je nodig hebt! 🥰

  De accommodatie was super schoon en netjes, had een prachtig uitzicht en een heerlijk rustig zwembad. Ook ligt alles dichtbij elkaar en is de omgeving rustig en mooi. Je hebt echt alles wat je nodig hebt, zoals een wasmachine.

  Eigenlijk niets! Wij hebben ons verblijf als heel prettig ervaren en zouden zeker nog een keer terugkomen.
