Best possible Japanese experience
We went there on our honeymoon and it was the best place we stayed during our whole trip. The location and the hotel are just amazing, the staff are nicer than just nice, and the food itself and the experience are outstanding.

Excellent. Hope to return some day soon.
Beautiful setting.
Some of the non Japanese staff were overly effusive in their polite manor which became a little annoying. Less is more. A more natural approach would be nicer

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!
The property itself is pretty and the food in the evening was nice. If you like Japanese breakfast then the breakfast would also be nice. However, the food was absolutely nothing special - the wine was very standard.
The property needed a LOT of updating, the bathroom in our room was so damp because of the “sauna” room - it was really smelly. The whole room was damp and we woke up with sore chests. The whole place smells damp too - they burn incense to cover it. The pools need a good clean. They picked us up in the “shuttle” which was a shared car - we had to wait for the other people to arrive at the station and were told to sit in the back of the minibus. For the amount they charge, this is not acceptable. The staff were quite rude and the service at breakfast was subpar. For the prices they charge, this was really not worth it!!!
