Glorious exclusive safari with exceptional service in luxurious accommodation
Olarro was absolutely fantastic. We wouldn’t fault a thing. A magical once in a lifetime experience. We stayed there for 3 days as a family party of 11 including 3 young children. The staff were all absolutely brilliant - they went above and beyond at every stage. The rooms are beautiful. They are clean, well stocked, and managed throughout the day to ensure there are no mosquitos - nets and repellants are put up in the evening for you. Two members of our party had massages during our stay from Grace - these were incredible and so relaxing - she is very skilled. The hotel only sleeps about 20 ish people so it feels very exclusive. The pools are lovely too. The food was all delicious and the staff went above and beyond to put on a special evening for my mother in law’s big birthday which we really appreciated. We did 4 game drives in the conservancy on our stay - we saw so many amazing animals very close up - elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions and a cheetah mummy with her 4 cubs to name but a few. The guides were very knowledgable, accommodating and kind. The children loved them and they tracked down incredible sightings for us. 4 of our party also did the quad bike safari which was a very exciting alternative experience. Finally, our outbound flight was cancelled at the last minute and Benjamin managed to assist us in getting another flight sorted within 2 hours through his contacts - another example of how incredibly attentive and caring the team is - transcending all expectations. A glorious holiday for us. Thank you so much team Olarro.

A home away from home!
Olarro Lodge is a home away from home. The setting is amazing but what makes it so special is the staff. Their friendliness and attentiveness is difficult to match and the endless supply of great food meant we were never hungry! The lodge itself has lots of character and the game drives in the Olarro conservancy feel super special due to how private it is. We spent a day at the Masai Mara reserve which I would recommend doing to tick off the big 5 but we loved our drives and quadbiking within the Ollaro reserve. We hope to return soon!
