Dinner is served 7 nights a week from 6.00pm till 8.30pm. Tasting menu and A La Carte available Tuesday-Saturday. Sunday-Monday A La Carte only. Half board option includes 3 courses of The A La Carte Menu (upgrade to Tasting Menu is available at extra cost). The sitting room/bar closes the door at 11pm.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. It's recommended to bring your own vehicle since this property is not serviced by public transportation. A deposit may be required at the property.

    Very enjoyable - Downton Lodge is a perfect base for exploring the Marches.

    Both were great.

    Short break somewhere different

    Rooms clean & comfortable. EV charging was free. Personalised note at breakfast was a nice touch.

    Breakfast buffet limited, but lovely. Breakfast area a little mortuary ish, with evening lounge music playing?? - pretty depressing. Reception should be front & centre not beyond the sitting area & initial welcome not that warm or friendly. We didn't realise this is a restaurant with rooms 1st & not a hotel

    We left with a huge smile on our faces.

    We were welcomed from the first moment we arrived and throughout our stay. We cannot praise the hotel staff highly enough. The food (and wine) was superb. The accommodation was a delight. Thank you for giving us a wonderful, relaxing time. We will be back.
