Very friendly welcome. Staff really helpful - thank you Chloe. Good location. Food was nice.
Room felt a little snug to be classed as superior but the bathroom was spacious.

Proper rural hospitality in a charming place.
Proper rural pub with a warm welcome, a roaring fire and staff who cared in a welcoming and relaxed manner. The rooms are comfortable, the food is hearty and plentiful, and the place oozes history and character. Looking forward to my next visit.

We weren't able to stay for breakfast so cant comment on that, however they welcomed us from our travels and made us feel at home,. the rooms were nice the beds were good and the meal we had there was excellent.
It met our expectations - so nothing really to criticise
