    Very disappointing stay, would not recommend

    In a quiet location, a short walk to the city centre however overall a disappointing stay.

    There was an indescribable foul smell coming from the downstairs bathroom for the entire duration of our 3 night stay - this smell would waft through the entire downstairs of the apartment even when keeping the bathroom door shut and keeping the exhaust fan on. The odour made being within the apartment extremely uncomfortable and ruined the stay, to the point of trying to hold our breath whilst going into the room to use the toilet and limiting our time spent downstairs. Due to the strong smell and not knowing whether it was a mould issue coming from the washing machine or a drain, we did not feel comfortable washing our clothes in the apartment therefore this listed facility was pointless. The cleanliness of the property was poor, it did not look like the bathroom vanity or kitchen area had been cleaned for some time with water marks, dust and hair and the washing machine barrel was dirty and had a strong odour coming from within. The hot water system is small, ran out of hot water after 1 shower. Communication regarding check in was lacking, arrival time was provided to the host the day prior as per their request and queried the possibility of leaving baggage at the property prior to check in, however, no response was received and no check in details were provided. We attended the property and needed to call the host to find out how to access the property, feel that clear instructions should have been provided prior to arrival.

    I was trapped to book this place by the reviews. Not a suitable choice by all means forba place to stay in Split, starting from the location, the unhelpful owner kept me waiting more than 3 hours in the burning hot summer day, bcoz of wrong access code he provided me and he refused to come to help in oerson because his busy with his own job at a hospital. After all I gave up and booked another place to stay, and owner refused to refund to me my fully prepaid money for this definetly unpleasant experience.I will never do this mistake again, booking on basis of previous reviews only.

    I didn't like anything. The above comments are very much self explanatory.

    A perfect stay in Old Town Split

    Situated in the heart of old town, near Diocletian's Palace, every walk to food, coffee, or excursions was breathtaking. Every coffee shop and resteraunt in the area exceeded expectations. Enjoyed the Game of Thrones tour, and renting bikes from within the palace for a ride to Kasjuni beach along the pier. The room itself was very well equiped with all of the kitchen necessities and a large bedroom.
