Terrace. Attentive owner. Nice standard room. Quiet area, far from other tourists Boat safari.
The location is a bit too far from the restaurants or the beach. Cheap tuktuk options are available though. WiFi not the best but manageable.

Exceptional
I spent only two days in Bentota, but Prabath made my stay truly memorable. My first impression of the villa was very positive - it’s located away from the railway, so you don’t hear passing trains all the time. Inside, there is plenty of space, everything is clean, and you have all you need for a great stay: a small kitchen, air conditioning, a fan, a comfortable bed, and a balcony where you can enjoy a meal outdoors or just relax. The host is very friendly and helpful, always ready to give advice and assist with planning activities. I chose a river safari, a temple visit, and a waterfall trip, and everything was perfectly organized. The host even joined me, explaining and showing different places along the way. His sister prepares amazing meals - you feel like you're dining in a restaurant, but without even leaving the villa. Overall, a fantastic experience!
For me, this wasn’t an issue, but you should be aware that walking to the beach takes around 25 minutes. It’s better to take a tuk-tuk or ask the host - he’s always willing to give a ride or pick you up. It would also be great to have a small stovetop in the kitchen for those who want to cook their own meals.
