  Le calme er le paysage. Attention voir commentaire sur route dans points négatifs!

  Gros gros soucis avec l'accès au logement et le non guidage du propriétaire. Non seulement la route normale est déjà difficile avec de grosses pierres un peu partout mais en plus il y a un autre chemin de quasi 2km qui est quasi non carrossable! Or google maps nous oriente en priorité sur ce chemin et le proprio qui pourtant a déjà eu des commentaires dans ce sens dit juste: "suivez le GPS" quand je l'ai contacté pour l'arrivée! C'est inadmissible, j'ai failli casser la voiture de location en allant à 2 km/h et j'étais tellement échaudée que pas ressortie le lendemain! Et j'ai nettoyé moi-même les grosses pierres des derniers 250m. Ce n'est pas normal! Je ne recommande pas sauf si 4×4! Et le propriétaire bien au courant n'a pas de considération pour ces hotes... Sinon pas de bouilloire comme annoncé et la plaque au gaz sent extremement fort (obligé de tout ouvrir et d'utiliser au minimum). Bref je ne recommande pas!

  Tolle Lage

  Eine konkrete Beschreibung bzgl. Parken/Zugang wäre gut. Sind von der anderen Seite gekommen und da war die Zufahrt schlimm, zumal manche Autovermietungen Fahrten abseits der normalen Straßen nicht zulassen und Strafen drohen.

  Lovely refuge in nature

  This is a wonderful little hermitage in the hills. The hosts prepared the small house with such love, thinking of everything one might need. Even coffee and creamer and fresh eggs in the fridge as well as a prepared stack of wood in the fire place, ready to light for the cooler nights. There an excellent oven to cook and bake in and a new single flame gas stove. Both work very well. The bathroom is separate and small but very clean and functional. Hot water comes on quickly. It’s lovely to sit on the terrace by candle light. The stars are incredible due to the isolation of the house. It’s very silent too, you might hear a distant flock of sheep or a dog barking but not much more. The location is perfect to explore the area either by foot or by car. Walking is preferable given the difficult roads. All in all, I fell in love with this place. It allows you to truly immerse yourself in a very natural environment with all its sounds, sights, and smells.

  I would have stayed another week if I had a 4-wheel drive car. The dirt roads are problematic for a low clearance car like mine. I had to go extremely slow to not risk a flat tire. Be prepared for quite a few stretches of rocky unpaved roads. I found the place a bit overdecorated and some of the decorations were fire hazards, like fiber bowls and dry plants around the fireplace. But those can easily be removed and of course decorations are always a subjective matter of taste :)

  Exceptional

  We had an amazing experience in the olive metohi. Very quiet, close to nature, clear skies for stargazing. Spotless clean. Very polite and responsive host.
