The breakfasts are very good, and the staff is excellent, especially in the restaurant. The rooms are spacious, and the location is excellent.
The bathroom was actually a decent size, though I’ve never seen such a narrow bathtub in all my years (I’m 65). To shower, you had to press yourself against the wall, and the floor still ended up soaking wet anyway. Luckily for me, the shower curtain had broken the day before I arrived. The bathroom was dimly lit; I realized only one of the three bulbs was working, so I went out, bought replacements, and installed just one because the socket for the third one was broken. When checking out, I handed over the box containing the two remaining bulbs, but no one even asked what kind of bulbs they were or why I was giving them back. The wardrobe was large, but there were no shelves in any of the compartments, so our belongings had to stay in our suitcases. Sometimes there was water in the room in the morning, and sometimes there wasn't—it was hit-or-miss. My friends, however, didn't get water at all. It was baffling. On the second-to-last day, my friends' room wasn't cleaned, and the trash wasn't taken out. We chose this hotel because a sauna was advertised. After running for an hour at most, the temperature would only reach 50 degrees! I reported this to the staff twice, but nothing was ever done about it.
