    If we had known these things in advance we would not have booked this house.

    The house is spacious.

    For a stay of 9 nights we were unpleasantly surprised by the fact that there is only one shower towel per person for the whole duration of your stay and only one set of bed sheets. There is a washing machine, but no detergent. In the (apparently wrong) information it says that there are cleaning materials, but the only soap we found was hand soap and dish washing soap. Nothing to clean the toilets, shower, table, floors, clothes etc. If we had known we could have brought some ourselves. When we asked for some drops of soap items we were told we could buy an extra cleaning for 55 euros ex tax. We prefer to do these things ourselves on our holiday and certainly were not going to pay extra! The owner obviously has a different hygienic standard than we do, because the sheets are normally only changed every 10 days, yuk! The communication with the owner turned to being very unpleasant! I won’t bother to write down everything he texted to us, but it was very inhospitable. The house is attached to another house, and you can literally hear everything that’s going on there. Also there was a renovation going on next door, but as we were gone all day the noise didn’t bother us much. The interior is very simple and basic. The bed in the master bedroom is only 140 cm wide, so it’s not even a normal double bed.
